Music: Princess Nokia

Who: She is a forking Queen and I love this perfect Puerto Rican badass.

Why: It all started when I watched season 8 of Letterkenny and “Tomboy” got stuck in my head for a week. Then when I finally broke and hunted down who is was by I found this gem! I went on to listen to all of her music on repeat and dance around outside.
Today I woke up at 5am and cried about the state of my life, nothing major it’s just that I’m 26 and I don’t know what I’m doing and I have no money (so I’m right on track). Once I was up and dressed and all that fun stuff, I put in my earbuds and just played whatever was playing last and “Excellent” came on. I immediately started walking like a badass (at least it felt that way) and I rocked out to the wonderful message that is that song.
This stranger, with her magical music, was able to turn my day around before it really even started. I’m so grateful that she is out in the world being her goddess self.
