Comedian: Demi Adejuyigbe

What: Well, he is a person so I wouldn’t refer to him as a “what,” but he is a very funny man who has done lots of things. We are very close in age so he typically makes me feel very inadequate, but mostly he makes me happy.

Why: I have spent a lot of time alone, and a lot of time driving and Demi has (virtually, and unknowingly) kept me company. From disgustingly long episodes of Gilmore Guys to his many movie credit remakes, this stranger has made me feel seen, understood, and less isolated.
Demi seems to just genuinely enjoy being funny and making things. I am excited for him when he succeeds and thanks to him I have found so many good podcasts. Sometimes the only thing that can make a me happy is remembering that there are wonderful magical people (who are human and are still totally fallible) out in the world. He inspires me to keep creating things that I love and to find other who get my sense of humor.
Basically all I’m trying to say is Demi is a cool person who makes the world a better place just by being himself.
