Character: Yennefer of Vengerberg

Who: Yennefer of Vengerberg is a fictional character from The Witcher Universe. I have not played the games nor have I read the books (yet) so this is solely based on her characterisation from the Netflix show.

Why: As Jessica Culligan keeps insisting, Yennefer is the most developed character in The Witcher on Netflix. I think it is possible this is because Geralt and Ciri are both more developed in the books or games. All I know is I love this queen.
You know when you read a Paranormal Romance Novel and you learn the tragical backstory of the gorgeous and brooding man. Maybe he was formerly a disfigured slave who was treated worse than an animal (I’m looking at you Zerek of Moesia). And then your heart bleeds for them and their pain and you forgive almost any wrong doing of theirs, especially because their wrong doing isn’t even that bad. Also they have a sassy and amazing no-bs-ness about them. You know that every day story? Well Yennefer is like that but a woman, and a fucking powerful one at that.
